The island is coming along quite nicely! Today I added some new outdoor amenities, including a somewhat large garden area. I had some interesting conversations with my fellow island goers, oh, and today was Isabelle’s first full day on the job! Let’s see how everything went.
The day started with a ceremony held to celebrate the grand opening of our new Campsite! Hopefully, we can get some visitors soon.
Huge updates today on LilacGrove! Resident Services has a new look, a familiar face returns to town, a new initiative is started, and much much more! I hope you’re ready for the long haul because this is going to be a big one.
As was foretold yesterday, Resident Services is closed for remodeling today. Boo! (But also yay!) Tomorrow should be a lively day with tons to do. I forgot to stock up on Nook Miles tickets yesterday, so no island hopping for me. Let’s see what happened around town.
The sun has set on yet another day in paradise. Let’s check out what happened today:
LilacGrove saw the move-in of its third new resident, Sherb. He seemed preoccupied with finding something to snack on, so I decided to help him unpack! I got hungry right after this, though, so I went to hunt down some snacks of my own.
Another beautiful day comes to a close on LilacGrove Island. Time to go over what all happened today!
The first thing on the list was greeting our new resident, Megan. I met her out and about while traveling amongst the uncharted islands. She seemed a bit unhappy, perhaps longing for something new, so I invited her to live here on our little island! I’m excited to see how she decorates her place.
Today was another jam-packed day! Many new guests dropped by the island, some just for a visit, and some to make themselves a new home.
Harv and Mable dropped by first thing this morning. Harvey was strolling through, totally just dropped by because the wind blew him this direction. Mable set up a temporary clothing store to peddle wares to the locals, mentioning the hope of one day setting up a permanent location (soon, I hope). I ended up getting some new duds from her, the hoodie I made is nice and all, but I wanted something a bit more clean. First, I just bought some wood frame glasses, but I came back for some more later (as you will see as the day progresses.)
I’ve decided that it might be best (or easiest) for me to get these updates out the next morning. Since now life has gone back to “normal” (aka it’s not the weekend) I will not be able to stay up as late to update everything the night of. With that out of the way, I’m ready to get into all that took place on LilacGrove.
The long awaited (1 day) museum is finally under construction. It should be done by tomorrow, and then I can get out from underneath the massive horde of critters that I’ve locked away in my house storage. Super excited to spend some QT with Blathers, I’m sure he is ready to divulge all of his random trivia, and I’m here for it.
